Ice Cream Cupcake Cones – The Perfect Birthday Party Treat

You don’t always have to make a big birthday cake. We recently had these ice cream cupcake cones instead and they were a hug hit – and so fast to put together. All you need are sugar cones, cupcakes, frosting and sprinkles. Watch the video and see how quick and easy it is to make these cupcake cones that look like fancy soft-serve ice cream.

Make them ahead of time or get all the ingredients together, prepare your frosting and then let your birthday guests make their own. It may get a little messy, but it’ll be a lot of fun.

In the video it is suggested you fill each cone with candy, but in my opinion that’s a little overkill. The cupcakes, frosting, sprinkles and cones are plenty sweet for my girls. Use your own judgment on the extra candy.
